Just wanted to share with all of you...
I recently purchased a TecAmp Puma 500 for all my upright and electric bass needs. The dealer didn't have the name brand gig bags in stock so I did some research and found a nice alternative.
Amazon sells an 11 inch Laptop and Tablet bag for 12 bucks shipped that is a great match for the Puma. It fits fine as is, but if you cut out the two thin fabric dividers within the main compartment, the Puma slides in and out even easier. It provides as much (or more) cushion as my Acoustic Image Clarus gig bag, has another zippered compartment for speakon and power cables, and comes with a padded shoulder strap. Not bad for 12$.
