Details

I am the only owner and purchased this cab from Austin Bass Traders about 3 years ago. I have two of these, one I use for gigs and one that stays home. I now have a 112 cab to use at home so, I’m selling one of the S212s. Cab is in like new condition with the flight case in excellent condition. Cab will be shipped to the buyer in the flight case shown since it is the safest option and I don’t have the original packaging. I will cover $50 of the shipping cost.

This TecAmp S212 is a great cabinet. In fact the TecAmp line is pretty good. Just because it has not been the "talk of the Town" here on TB for the last couple of years, don't be fooled. they are still good gear. Check out the Black Jag when you can, it's a very versatile amp. This cab is versatile too.

Hello, there, JHH01! I am in the market for a 212 or probably preferably a S212 (which I believe are the Neodymium drivers). Can you help me by answering the following: what do you find are the main distinctions between the 212 and S212? I have been unable to find any info on the 212 and S212...do you have any product info you can point me to, i.e. owners manual pdf? Thanks, this will help me to assess pros/cons towards making a purchase decision. Thanks if you have time!

There isn’t a 212 that I know of, only a 212S and 212M with the S being slimmer and the M being a little more closer to a standard size 212 cab. The Tecamp site is down but you may know that Thomas Eich sold Tecamp several years ago and started other line called EICH Amplification. Long story, but essentially he has the same products with upgrades I’m sure and just as awesome as the Tecamp line he originally started. If you go to his site you will find the specs for each cab that would be similar as the TEcAmp line. For me, I love the 212S! It’s light and compact which supports the gigs I play. It has lots of power and head room. Clarity and punch is incredible, especially for slap. I’ve been playing a Puma 1000 and an 212S for about eight years now. Not one problem, but I do take excellent care of my gear! Hope this helps.

jhho1, Thx so much!! I REALLY / REALLY appreciate your time and help with this reply-- just what I needed, right on time. I will do as you suggested to get the specs. Btw I JUST noticed this cab is German-made, although you obtained from ABT (great news)! I am interested in talking further about potential purchase options. How best to talk offline (can you DM me)?
