Never tried one of these, but very intersted in one. How much better does it make the bass tone in recordings? I'm looking for a fat/full sound for country/contemorary music. I am playing a Fender MIM Jazz 5. Is this what I need?

I've used the BDDI on just about every recording I've made since shortly after they first came out. You may want to use it in conjunction with a mic on the cab, but even in a pinch the SansAmp is a great studio tool.
