I have two quick questions:
What are the specs on the low and high pass filters (e.g frequency point and dB/octave slope).
Do you recommend the new pedal in front of the BDDI, since the BDDI is both an amp and cab simulator and the Q/Strip appears to be essentially a highly versatile EQ/tone shaping tool?
Thanks for any insights you can share!
I would expect a parametric equalizer with a big Q printed on the front to have some form of q, q factor, bandwidth, or shape control. I guess the Q is just for eQualizer.

As always, thanks for taking time to educate your potential customers and long term fans...of course many of us are often in both categories!
$250 street is extremely reasonable considering what they're bringing to the table with this one. The two sweepable semi-parametric mid knobs are especially nice. And adding a fixed HPF and LPF was also very thoughtful. Definitely designed for most "real world" requirements as opposed to offering fuller tweakability. Strikes a nice balance between cost and features.
Hmm...I was thinking about spec'ing another custom preamp build. But with what they're offering with this one - and for the price they're asking - I think I may just be getting myself one of these instead.
I'd like it even more if they'd do it as a rackmount. But you can't have everything I suppose.

....a very well thought out product offering indeed, and Tech 21 products consistently perform well for me.
Very interested in this pedal, looks like exactly what I was looking for, but - no ground lift as far as I can see(?), might that be a problem for DI use?
There is a "phantom & ground connect xlr" button at the lower left side of the pedal. The same that comes with the BassDriver and ParaDriver. I believe that if you want to power the unit via phantom it must be ground connected, if you lift the button you lift the ground but would have to run it with power supply or battery. Or at least that's what I understand.

I've been thinking about an RBI.....or and RPM.....or a VTRM.....or a Geddy RM......
This would be perfect. I can use my floor based SansAmps for colour.
I know a guy who uses the regular BDDI for his actual tone, DI to the house, and then goes from the 1/4" out to an RBI (into a power amp) with just a little sansamp tone blended in for the stage sound.
Yeah I saw a NAMM short ans this was in it and I was like, YES PLEASE!! Sounds like a great tool. Its like the bigger companies and builders are listening intently to us. Well, for the most part. All those big gripes that have been around for a while are being addressed. It's pretty cool.
Every time I think I've figured out what I want/need for my rig, another awesome new thing gets released. I don't have enough money for all of this gear!
