Tech 21 VT Bass price drop coming?

For those in the know, do you anticipate a price drop on the VT Bass once the VT Bass Deluxe starts shipping (any day now)? I want to get this pedal and don't know whether I should buy it new or just wait as I think a bunch of TB'ers may be unloading theirs as they upgrade to the Deluxe.

used prices may drop off slightly, but i wouldn't expect miracles.

I agree.. in second hand units the price may dropa a bit... but I think the MRSP, o retail price of new ones should stay pretty much the same

There`s still going to be demand for the regular pedal. I honestly would expect a price drop of more than $10, if any at all.

Used prices might go lower as supply of used VT's will probably increase for a while when some folks choose to sell their original VT's off for a Deluxe (like I just did), but why on earth would Tech 21 cut the price because of the Deluxe?! If anything the "regular" VT looks like a value vs. the price of a Deluxe.

Stop worrying and just go buy yourself a VT...you'll be glad you did...or hang loose a few more weeks for the Deluxe!

the "Original" vs Deluxe price gap is WAY bigger than the Bass Driver vs Programmable (I remember it being 30-40$).

Used prices will drop significantly. There was one for sale on my local Craigslist for $50 last month!

New will stay the same.

The SABDDI price hasn't changed as far as I know, even after the Para Drive, RBI, programmable, etc all came out.

I don`t think the used price will drop nearly that much. That sounds like a guy either selling something he stole, needed to sell immediately, or didn`t know what he was selling.
