Tech21 RPM or Para driver di

I am trying to decide which one to buy.. i am playing a Fender Jazz through a 1976 bassman 100 head with sun cabinet and some times through a ampeg svt-350t

I also play guitar . I have seen videos of the para driver with guitar,but not with the rpm.

It's my understanding that they're essentially the same preamp, just in pedal vs. rack form.

+1 they're essentially the same thing, just different formats so it really comes down to which format you prefer.
Also, just out of curiosity, why do you want to use either the rackmount or pedal? They're tube emulation pedals (although very high-quality ones at that, but you're already running through a great tube amp with that '76 bassman.

I wanted to use it on my Ampeg svt-350t too. I wanted some different sounds(heavy) with it.. And use it for guitar too..

I use my RPM now with a Mesa tube head in the efx loop of the Mesa. Add a little drive, blend <>50%, and boost some high mids. I believe the para lacks an efx loop, making it less versatile than the RPM. For portability though and a simple signal chain or a grab and go gig though, the para wins.
