Tell me what cab I should use with my avatar

So, I'm looking at getting another cab to go with my avatar 410 neo, and I'm having trouble narrowing down my options. I like the tone, but I'd like some more low end definition. I'm going for a fairly low/ low mid type of sound. I play a fender jazz (tuned to drop d for some songs) through a carvin BX1200(also any advice on setting that up would be helpful). I play pretty loud band so volume is not a factor. I want to keep using the avatar, so huge cabs (8x10 and the like) are out of the questions. Any suggestions?

Thanks, that is the cab I'm looking the hardest at, but will that be as much bass as a 15? When I play stuff on my downtuned E string there is not as much definition as I would like. So will a 2x12 have as much low definition as a 15?

I would say even more definition. I play a 5er and am admittedly a low-D addict. I've used 15s in the past...even 18s, and I hear a lot of boom, but not enough definition. The 212 is more defined and packs a mean punch. Give it some power and it will make your pants shake.

I would like to know this as well. I just got an Avatar 410 Neo 2 weeks ago and i LOVE it, but when I drop the tuning down a little, it would be nice to have some lower end.

I have a speaker cab that will fit these two woofers. I already lined it up with WinISD and they fit the cab pretty well.

KappaLite3015 - $169
# 8 Ohms
# 40Hz-4kHz
# 450 Watts RMS
# 900 Watts Program
# 5.9mm Xmax
# High Efficiency of 100.8dB SPL

Or for a a cheaper alternative 15 inch

BassLite C2515 - $115ish
# Weighs 5.7lbs.
# 4 Ohms
# 52Hz-2.5kHz
# 300 Watts RMS

The part i like about the Basslite is that its 4ohm like my 410, but I cant find a lot of reviews on it so Im not sure how it will do. Ive heard nothing but good things about the 3015, But its a bit more money so thats the downside of that.

I've not played the Avatar 212, but from my other experience with cabs, a 212 sounds like what you are looking for. Sonically, a 212 will have a substantial amount more bass than the 410, very close to that from a 115. It should also have more volume than a 115. If you are wanting definition in the low end, a 115 tends to go a bit more on the muddy side than the 212.

I use a 212 as a standalone, and have no problems going down to low B, so you should have no problems playing downtuned.
