Tennessee made custom from 1980s ID needed

I am new to this forum, seeking help in identifying a P/J Bass custom clone I just bought from Joey Vesta, ex Mink De Ville. I am mainly a guitarist and singer who sometimes needs a bass for projects. I had an early Ibanez P Bass copy that was stolen and I was looking around on ebay to find a replacement when I found his - he is cleaning house a bit and the price was right. All he can remember was that he had the bass built mid 1980s when he was with the Minks and a top notch builder from tennessee made it for him. The pdf copy of the ebay file does not help much - it looks very stock minus the logo. Even the spacings on the pick guard plate screws are correct.

It has Schaller Pickups and Bridge plus switchable Seymour Duncan pups.
Anyone out there, possibly the builder able to help ID who made this?

Ok = Lets approach this from another angle. for those of you old enough to remember, who were the 'Go-To' builders of basses in Tennessee in the mid 1980s?

I had lived in Nashville for example and needed a custom bass build - who would you have recommended.

Are any of them/you still active?

Sorry about that - the photos on ebay items are now more secure than the used to be and I cannot just drag them into my laptop. This I suppose helps prevent piracy etc. I will post some real pix when the bass arrives. Thanks

No biggie . I try to help ID stuff when I can, but I don't deal with PDFs unless I absolutely have to. I'll be watching for the jpegs.

BTW - I just use "Print Screen" to capture pics and then trim them up in MS Paint.

Well its here and it was a box full of surprises. It shipped from New York so I was pleasantly surprised with the goodies in the box. The neck is a Warmouth with a 3mm thick polished rosewood fretboard and fat stainless frets. The neck taper runs from 37mm at the nut to 62mm at the heel!

There are no switches anywhere except on the SD Active EQ pups, VVT only, & Schaller Tuners and bridge. There is a hefty shim in the pocket that seems to do no harm, and the body, which is very heavy, I am pretty sure is Fender.

Considering I was only out to replace a Blazer Bass that was stolen I think I did ok for a $540.00 replacement.
