Thank you Hartke

My Hartke Kickback 12 came today via FedEx.

Opened the box, took it out of the plastic wrapper, three of the four protective corners were shattered and broken. Not only that, the fuse had somehow lodged itself in the cooling grill. Plugged the fuse back in place and it fired up just fine. Amp works great.

Called Hartke, without hesitation they offered to send me four new protective corners. Told them about the fuse, said it sounded like the amp took a tumble along the way.

Hartke = Great customer service.
FedEx = Lack luster shipping practices.

Even though i don't play them anymore, i did play Hartke for years and they were always tops. Always had great customer service. One time I saw an Ad in Bass Player magazine that said "Larry Hartke wants to hear from you" and it listed this number that claimed to be his. I called it and got a message, so I left my name and number...Larry Hartke called me back 15 minutes later. We talked gear, bands, the whole deal! He even sent me a tshirt, hat and some stickers. Great company.

One of the plastic corners shattered on mine when it got shipped to me, they sent me a new one too.

Unfortunately my LH500 hasn't stood up to the wear of gigging and now blows fuses whenever I turn the power on... I wonder ho wmuch it'll cost to get that fixed.
