Michael, I just wanted to say thanks for coming to deliver your workshop to Kitchener, Ontario. It's not often we get to see any performer of your stature in such an intimate setting locally let alone a solo bassist!!
Your approach to the instrument transcends the traditional role of electric bass and I think players of any instrument could have taken something positive away from the experience had they attended. Their loss, I guess.
I certainly went home with a few things to work out, and yes, I did immediately grab my fretless.....In the side door of the house and straight to the basement - my wife didn't even realize I was home 'til the dog started whining!
Everyone I've talked to that was there agrees that this was an event we're glad we attended...the most common descriptive so far is "awesome"!!
