Dunno how he fit it down the chimney, but this is my new bass. Takamine EG512CGAMQ. I've been looking for an acoustic bass for a long time (the Alvarez MSB1 was just too small for me) and this is perfect. I love the color and the sound.
Now the real question is what kind of strings to put on it. It needs new ones already, i think this one was in the store (although it doesn't have any scuffs on it)
The case that a certain online retailer shipped to us (that we had to pick up this morning at the airport -_-) turned out to be a dud. The tolex wasn't glued at the seams, really bad craftsmanship.. but that will be taken care of on the 26th!
