Should be arriving soon (hopefully)!

mark_beem - That looks great! I hadn't imagined that style in a 5-string. Which company/builder?
Thanks! Nino (Valenti) is building it for me. Here are the full specs.

5 string
Vintage style
Forearm and tummy contour
Nordstrand Pickup (Cancelling "single coil" P)
Swamp Ash body
'59 finish
Graphite reinforced maple neck
maple fretboard with black dot inlays
35" scale
1-7/8" nut
Parchment Pickguard
Chrome Hipshot hardware
Aluminum Hipshot A style bridge (19mm)
thru body on B string
UltraLite tuning gears
String retainers

The bass pictured above is not mine but it will be very similar to it.

Count me in. Picked this up a few months ago with the intention of trading it away right away.

I never really connected with a fiver before this bass. Tried a few times over the years but I always fumbled with the extra string, hitting the B when I meant to play the E, that sort of thing.

This one came to me at the right time, and I adjusted to it very quickly. It's now my main backup bass (my main player being an MIA P-bass), and has been my main player at band practice since I got it.

I like it so much I'm planning on getting another. The active preamp is awesome on this bass, with volume/blend/bass/treble and a stacked midrange with mid+frequency. She's a keeper.
