Wasn't he the noted Cambridge physicist who invented the laser? I think he also lent his name to a failed 1969 project that would have made the moon a "death star" and destroyed most of planet Earth.

Alan Parsons is a musical genius.

His fingerprints are all over many hit records other than his own.

He's as much a part of those albums as the artists who recorded them. "Year of the Cat" is almost a stealth APP record
