@denton57, since pedalboard real estate is a concern and you don't need EQ, I encourage you to follow gregmon79's advice and mount a DI beneath your board. Raise the feet on your Nano+ or sell it and get a Mono Lite+ (same dimensions, but with superior engineering and materials so you have more space beneath). This will allow you to fit your Broughton Carina as well as another 125B pedal.
Give your context, I'd avoid the Sushi Box stuff and Messenger Jr because they all have knobs which limits how you can position the DI. Instead, I recommend either the
Broughton Proto DI or
Pinstripe LWDI (or
Pinstripe Clean DI if you need an active circuit), both of which have already been mentioned in this thread. These have no knobs so they easily mount beneath a board. Or you could mount them under a different pedal on top of your board if you case has the height clearance.
The Walrus Canvas DI/Line Isolator you mention will also work, but I think the transformers in the Proto DI (Carnhill) and Pinstripe LWDI (Jensen) are higher quality than the
in-house transformer in the Canvas. I could be wrong about that, though. I'm guessing from the price (how else can they keep it in the same ballpark while adding additional features?) and because they aren't publishing its specifications so one cannot compare it to offerings by Jensen, Lundahl, Carnhill, etc.
If you want to go all out, you could mount a Khan VTDI beneath a Mono Lite+. I know there's enough room for a Khan VTDI, Cioks DC7, and HPF because this is what I do:
