The Cell Theorem.

I rarely post on Talkbass these days, but I don't tihnk I ever plugged my band here... so why not?:p

The first 3 songs on there are from a recent rehearsal. We record all of our rehearsal's and I thought I'd throw some clips up. Sound is iffy and we screw up in a couple palces... :hmm: But since it's only a rehearsal recording it's no big deal to us. No one's perfect.

Quarantined and Paranoid Angels are older and were done a lot better, obviously, haha. They are intended for a demo along with a few others songs and a jam or two we'll be releasing soon. We had our first gigs in the fall and decided that we needed more material, so we'll be back up again in spring.

Thanks for checking us out! Hope you enjoy.

I feel like the drummer is...overcompensating? On the new stuff. He sounds much better on the older stuff though. If that's you playing bass, KILLER. Great tone, very melodic lines; I like that a whole bunch. :)

The tunes aren't entirely my cuppatea, but I can recognize talent well enough. Nice job, keep it up!

Thanks guys. Yea that's me on bass. :smug:

Our drummer... he's a special one. He's the best drummer I've ever played with (guitarist would say the same thing) and really amazes me every time we play. When we are rehearsing he most definitely "overplays", or at least that's what most would say. It's more like he's always trying something different when we practice. On first glance though yea he would look like he's doing to much.

When it comes down to recording seriously (The older "better" sounding ones, we did everything separately and blah blah) he tones down and does what the song needs and extra when necessary.

He also is a bass player (a really good one at that, and makes me jealous of his crazy good ear) so we have like the chemistry of the gods or something. And when we lock in on a groove it's almost scary cause we read each other so well. No matter what this kid is always back on "1". He actually composed all of that song "X" on myspace.
