Cherry Coke is an abhorrent, appalling, awful, disgusting, distasteful, dreadful, evil, foul, fulsome, gross, hideous, horrendous, horrible, horrid, loathsome, nasty, nauseating, noisome, noxious, obscene, offensive, rancid, repellent, repugnant, repulsive, revolting, scandalous abomination.
I don't care for it.

My friend bought me a bottle of it just yesterday without me asking because she was at the grocery store and they don’t sell it at any convenient stores that I can get to. It’s just about the perfect drink to go with pizza. I’m trying to be good and not have any, but it keeps staring at me when I open the fridge and my will is weakening.
That’s the most fundamental example of trolling right? Just passing through to voice an opposition to the entire concept of the thread for no other reason than “it had to be said?”
Do you think anyone who likes cherry coke thinks it’s not bad for you? You’re trolling and arguing against a point that no one has made.
I kind of forget, it was either vanilla or cherry. Oh well, too bad, I cant get Dr Pepper.
You forgot it’s the best thing short of acid strong enough to ruin your paint, to remove road film from your car windshield.cleans your toilet, and makes a great gargle & rinse!
When I was in High School my group would walk down the street to a small pizza place at lunch time, they had a soda and a slice special. Many of us ordered a cherry coke with our slice so the owner started calling it The Virgin Special. Later we would just walk up and say, "One virgin please."
It was are special not on the menu just for us order.
The owner's brother did not care for us ordering that way when he was there.
Frisch's Big Boy restaurants have been making Cherry Cokes for decades. They use a cherry syrup that they put in regular coke. If you ever get a chance to have one, you'll find theirs puts Coke's retail version to shame. They recently switched to Pepsi products, customers put up such a protest it didn't last even a year. It's mandatory I order one whenever I go there.

I haven't had a sugar soft drink in many years, other than in a root beer float. No point in ingesting those empty calories...except root beer, which, consumed with ice cream in a float, is a food group.

Hmmmm. After seeing this thread, I shall have me a Cherry Coke on the way home tonight. I think the 7-11 near here has it in the fountain machine.

Haven't had a cherry Coke since somewhere around 1970.
There was a diner right across the street from my school.
Once a month my Mom would give my oldest brother $1.
So myself and my two older brothers would go there for lunch.
We could get a hamburger, fries and a Coke for $.25 each.
If you wanted to get a cherry Coke it was two cents extra.
But this was when they would squirt the Coke and cherry
syrup into to the glass, add the soda water and stir.
Those were the days.

When I was a kid (back in the Dark Ages), a lot of the stores like Woolworth's, etc. had soda fountains. They would mix a Cherry Coke and other things for you. Personally, my favorite was the Vanilla Cokes.
I tried four different 7-11's, couldn't find it on the fountain machine. Then I remembered what I saw, they give you the option to add syrup to any soda you choose. Cherry, vanilla, or lemon syrup.
I opted for this instead.....

I haven’t been to one in years, and they were rapidly disappearing last I knew, but A&W restaurants used to make the best root beer floats. Soooo good, and huge.
