Double Bass The Contemporary Contrabass?

Does anyone know how to get a copy of "The Contemporary Contrabass" by Bertram Turetzky for less than 250$? That's the lowest price I found on the web for a used copy. I wrote an e-mail to Mr. Turetzky himself, which he didn't answer yet.

I studied with Bert last year. He is busy teaching, recording, and playing and living in the San Diego area. His recent CDs got positive reviews in the recent ISB Journal. There are also some links on TB to lecture and music videos as well.

I wrote him about The Contemporary Contrabass being on Amazon for a ridiculous price and let him know several people have an interest in having a copy of this book, including my current bass teacher.

He got back to me and stated that he is thinking about making some photocopies of his original work, putting a cover on it, and selling it. He already is selling MP3s and other material on Amazon, so you can keep yourself posted on Amazon to see what is going on with this. I hope he can get this out soon.
