I would replace Debra Killings with the chick in that old SWR factory youtube clip from the early 90's. I don't know who she was but she was killin' it like Rhonda or Meshell. Funky as hell!

Tal's not funky enough..nor is she black. Tal is more of a fusion/rock player. The girls below are funky AND jazzy. Remember SMV specialize mostly in something different. Tones are different, techniques are different, etc etc...so with that being said.
I would go with
Meshell or Rhonda in Victor's place
Nik West-would obviously be in Marcus's place
Esperanza-of course would be Stanley's place

Teja' Lanise(Musiq Soulchild) because she's got that thick urban 5 string groove that a lot of the modern Gospel cats have.
Debra Killings(Outkast, TLC, solo) becase she has the funk, soul, jazz, RnB, rock thing down plus she's a great vocalist, AND she plays a 6 too.
Esperanza Spaulding because she's Esperanza Spaulding dammit!!....NUFF SAID!
I think the edge that an all female bass supergroup would have is that they are all in this group pretty awesome vocalists....SMV have all dabbled in singing but...

I met her at a Sunday Open Mic jam in NY a few years ago. Very good bassist! And very sweet too! She plays in an all woman band of whom I've also met some of the musicians at the same open mic.Kim Clarke has got to be in the list. She's a pioneer for all the others listed.
I hung out with TB member pyrohr, and he's the one who took me to this open mic jam. He knows her well among many other killin' musicians! Shawn (Epifani) plays bass for the house band and I got to meet him as well as Barry Johnson who's played for Chic and some Fusion and R&B artists back in the day. He's the brother of Reggie Vel Johnson of Family Matters fame.
Anyway, sorry for the hijack. Just had to get it out.
