Pfff I've played this baby 2 weeks ago... I WANT one of these! My teacher complimented me how my playing style fitted this bass. I seem to be quite a good fretless player 
But goodness gracious, these are almost €3000 new. Painful.

They look great, don't they ? I have a hankering for the hollow one ... somebody's signature model as I recall.

I've been looking at these for some time now. Finally bought one on bEay...
The seller says after 5 days, "looks like this bass has a bad neck! I'll let you know when we get another one".
Long story short, after 2 weeks, I asked for my money back. I think he was selling a picture.
Called Spector dealers and learned they aren't availble anymore.
Located one at NW Bass, purchased it and it came today.
It plays nice and is comfortable and light, everything is tight and adjusted well. The finish is very nice(amberglow). The machine heads work well. I also got a Spector gig bag, a cheap one, but it's fine for now.
The color isn't as bright as the pics on the internet and that's fine by me.
I don't really care for the lined neck.
Knobs need indents or markers.
I've played stereo basses for sooo long, that I'll probably re-wire it stereo. I always seem to have trouble mixing the sounds(balance) with 2 PU basses....hence the stereo thing.(and I told myself I wasn't going to re-wire it stereo!
)
It's my first bass with piezo/Fishman PU bridge.....weird....I'll get used to it.... think I'll like it better stereo....better control.
All my basses have Dunlop straplocks on them(except my RIC), I have black ones ordered for this bass.

+1 on the "Nice." I covet the fretless Ricks and their glowing fingerboards. Don't know if I will ever end up with one, but we can always dream.
Peavey! I recently picked up a fretless foundation in need of a good resto. This is the second old fretless Peavey I have gotten where the neck seemed to have an old finish that was worn off by this strings. In this case, roundwound grooved the wood pretty good too. I am gonna give dressing and oil finishing a try, but will end up jacoing the neck if the grooving is serious.

I haven't had one these for a long time. Oh, it's black and unlined fretless!
Here's mine. Jazz Special MIJ (jazz neck on prec body). It was p/j but I cut the baby fat & refinished with matte to look & feel like a fossil.
