I've never owned a fretted but for some reason I'm getting GAS for a new Fender JB. Do I need help? :smug:

Hi everybody, I am a member already and well I got some money so ... i have 700$ USD and I want to get a nice fretless, I was looking into a GWB-35 but I know I should ask/search in TB for some info , also I would really like to hear if any of you (cmon Fretless Club) has any info or advice on how to spend this money i've got

If you want a decent 5 string fretless with narrow string spacing, the GWB35 is a good bass. If you don't mind modding the electronics it can be a VERY good bass.

If you want a 4 string fender-esque fretless, get a Squier VM and save a few hundred bucks.

All IMO of course.

well I think I will just go for the GWB35

and about modding the electronics, I've heard that a lot about that, but I kinda like how they sound (judging by youtube videos)

Thanks for all :D will post pics as soon as I get it

I got my MIM fretless Jazz Bass for around that much money.
I love this bass and can't put her down. See post #10 on this thread to see how she looks.

I play tradition electrics and today has put some serious thought into the tone and playability of my mtb230. It has his own custom active pickups and the neck is as smooth as any I have held. I don't know prices (endorsements rule!) But I would think you could get one for what you have to spend.

Very nice club, i would like to join. :)
Here is my Warwick Rockbass Fortress 5 fl
