I saw that, and agree it might work. However, I'd prefer something that is soft and can be used with backpack straps. I'm usually doubling and also lugging around an upright or amp, so having my hands free would be clutch. I see that Kala also has a gig bag for their solid-body bass, but I haven't been able to find it for sale individually. I came across this auction, but I'm hesitant due to the seller's rating and the use of a single stock photo. It seems more likely that this is a gig bag for one of the acoustic u-basses.

The Carry-On by Blackstar travel bass is roughly of that size, so its gigbag might do the trick, for less than the eBay one, in case you feel like taking a shot, but a cheaper one:

Yes but this instrument is a little bit larger than a UBass the scale length is also longer than a UBass

There's no such thing as a standard scale length for U-bass.

Actually, it's surprising how well these little thangs with their rubber strings and piezo pickups can emulate a DB.

Apologies for resurrecting an older thread, but given your collective experience with these solid-body microbasses, I'm hoping you can help. I have a Goldtone 23" fretless microbass (solidbody) and it's by far my favorite. Unfortunately, I use it so much that the gig bag has started to fall apart. I've called GoldTone to see if I could purchase a replacement, and they told me I was out of luck. Does anyone have suggestions on third-party bags that would fit this little guy somewhat snugly? I thought about Kala, but the only gig bags I can find are for the acoustic basses.

Go to Jo Ann Fabrics and get some material to patch, plus some heavy needles and thread...
