My girl Rhonda. The quarter pound in the front has since been replace with a SD Stack.

Very nice! Is this a parts bass? Do tell. It looks like something I've thought about building through Warmoth.

I play a Warmoth J fretless. Alder body, Bird's eye maple neck w/ ebony board, and lindy fralin vintage pups. I have a hot rodded passive wiring system i got from an electronics/luthier guy. It has master volume, 5 position pup selector (neck, parallel, series, out-of-phase, bridge) and a psh pull treble roll-off/mid-cut. Tung oil on the body and nitro satin on the neck. Oh I love her.

What kind of bridge is that on the 3-tone sunburst Jazz? I'm thinking about putting a bridge like that on my assembled jazz.

It's a Kahler tremolo. I'm not sure I would recommend it though. It's fun to play with and a conversation piece, but I'd prefer to not have it anymore. It's temperamental on tuning and eats strings when you use it.

It was the thing to do when I did it 21 years ago.

The bass is stuck with it because there's a lot of routing involved putting it in there. No going back.

It's my 1st bass and a keeper that spends it's time in the case. However I've been getting nostalgic about it and plan to put in an Audre preamp and have the original bound and blocked neck re fretted and put back on.:hyper:
