The Most Sterile Delay

I am considering picking up a delay pedal, but not my go to option of the Malekko Ekko. I am interested in a digital delay the is as sterile as an operating room, one that repeats exactly what you give it with no attempt to emulate tape or warmth.

I use a Tech 21 Boost D.L.A. for this task with flutter off, and tone full on: repeats are clean and exact...repeats are clean and...repeats are clean...repeats are...repeats...(turns up feedback, down with tone and time maxed)...RRRR----E-E-ER-ER-A--A--APEAPPTR-S-S---SSSSSSSSSSS-S-S-S-S.......R-r-E-e-P-p-E-e-A-a-T-t-S-s....

ohh ADHD never leave me!

DD-20 will give you quite a few options to find exactly what you want and can definitely do sterile. It also has presets which is huge if you use it for more than one sound. The sound on sound option can also be fun to mess around with...stereo with your guitar to a guitar amp and your bass to a bass amp instrumental fun. I know thats not your criteria but perks can't hurt.

Any of the lesser DD's should do pretty good too.

LOL

Normally, I don't care about the whole organic vs. sterile arguments of delays, but for a particular future use, I am interested in a delay that does EXACT repeats, something many might consider "sterile". I have some good suggestions so far to pursue.
