Well i dont know if it has been shown before but i liked it and im posting a pic of it, seems to be a nice bass for CGCF tunning.

hard to tell, cos i dont live in the US and it hasnt pop up at any internet store...

I don't know if i like it, the inlays look nice on the rosewood, haven't tried the pickup and why is there a tele control plate? If it were mine i would have put a black pearl pickguard on it!

They're about $750 I think...I don't like them, they look wrong without the p-bass p/up in the neck

the neck looks amazing,the body however... the P pick-up is what makes the P bass a P bass,yah know? That pick-up looks like 2 jazz pick-ups melted together

Not a fan of the control plate either.

you can get a custom made MM humbucker to fit there...cos you just want the MM pickup not its case...

i dont like it.

P basses are meant to have P bass pickups not humbuckers.

I totally dig it! I even like the fact that while the pickup is a humbucker in what appears to be the typical MM position, it doesn't appear that they're trying to pull this off as a MM ripoff. It looks they've taken the Precision Deluxe and dropped the "P". I think it's a smart move for Fender, seems to be the only bass that they've been "missing". Of course what do I know?

Youre open minded, just because it is not traditional it is not meant to be a rip off (noone says the same when they see an UV sadowsky... pityful).
