I always enjoy photo's and stories of old "orphan" amps and combos, so let's see what you have!

Try to keep the submissions relatively rare, as maybe you have one and haven't seen another in many years, or you have one and don't know of another in existence.

The amp I'm standing next to is laying on it's side. An old SG 210/115 combo that weighed more than my fridge ever thought about. Alas, she is no more, it was a long tale of going away a piece at a time, but I will save that story if there is interest in the thread.

So to start, I present the early 70's SG combo, tube head, military spec hand soldering, 210-115.

If I had existing photos of the amp by itself, trust me, I would leave the wild shirt out of it! Oh, the things we thought that were cool when we were young......

In the Eighties literally anything went. It was all part of the show. I still think that clothing is very important on stage. I feel that the band should wear togs that are much different from what the audience is wearing. If what you see on stage is the same as looking anywhere else in the room the point is being missed.

Bottom line is we go to see a band after all, not go to hear one.

Our band ran a whole backline of SG amps in 1975. I had the amp you show and the guitar players had the 6x10 versions. I still have a 4x10 for nostalgia's sake.

I had been struggling with a 50watt Bassman, and the SG was a huge sonic step forward, but soon replaced by a Carvin then an SVT.

Would love to see pics if you have them! I wish mine hadn't gone away, again, I will tell that story when time permits.
