The Pedulla Club!

Hey all,

Here are some new photos of my Pedulla Thunderbass. I bought a Warwick fretless the other day, and decided to take photos of all the basses while I had the camera out. Enjoy!

Somehow, I'm not feeling that same need. Weren't you the one who offered to "enjoy" someone else's bass not so long ago? The PBuzz has been my main axe for the last year.

The TBass is newly-acquired, although it's a '95 and we had to endure no end of grief to establish legal ownership. It was stolen from its original owner in September 07, found - by the police - in a secondhand store in October 07, but never confiscated, much less returned to the original owner. I bought it - all unkowing - from the store owner via eBay in September 08, took it to Mike for repairs, and Christine called me a few hours after I dropped it off to tell me it had been reported to them as stolen. Lots of jumping through hoops with the Portland OR PD later, I bought it again - but PayPal can be your friend - at the end of November from the insurance company that had paid the claim to the original owner. Moral: get the serial number and check - at least - w/Christine, if not your local PD, who can consult the NCIC.

Back to Mike in mid-December for repairs and a hardware change - from black to gold - and now I'm learning to cope with (sorry: take advantage of) the C! I dig the Thunderguts, too.

I still haven't got one of Mike's bolt-ons, nor anything with an exotic top... There's been a TBolt 5 ET hanging around on eBay for at least a month now, but I've got no cash...

Best wishes!

i saw a great Tbolt 6er on craig's list the other day, and i was SOOOO tempted to grab it, but i just don't know if i would use that darn high C. Saving up for a bass is so hard...i always want to jump on the first interesting bass that comes my way! which is usually a pedulla... :)
