The project is a different type of “Tribute” band covering an era and a genre as opposed to a band or group of bands… Starting in the pre- invasion Motown era, through the Brits, Stacy and soul/ R&B, the late 60s through 70s big horn acts ( IDEs of March; CTA/Chicago, BS&T, The incomparable Tower of Power! Canada’s Lighthouse (One Fine Morning) then groups that used horns but aren’t known for them such as the Doors Touch Me, Grass Roots Midnight Confessions Then Penny Lane and Got to Get You Into My Life so many possibilities! A versatile bass professional who can go from Duck Dunn to Cetera to Rocco Prestia is needed to pull this off properly! Any takers?
