My second hand RUN DMC story is decades old, but my friend Marcus - known to enjoy a cold, frosty one - was heading out for a night drinking in Manhattan and going for smokes found two guys from the band (forget which) drinking tall boys in paper bags outside the package store. My friends recognized them and said what's up, and RUN DMC -1 said they were fortifying to go confront some street bootleggers selling their stuff. They offered my friend to tag along, and it turned out the mission involved stopping to hold up the wall outside every corner shop they encountered. Eventually any mention of the bootleggers was abandoned, and it became all about the brown baggin
