Love that shade of blue. What's it called?Apparently I've neglected taking any pics of my 4003S & Terror Bass stack together but yeah it's a pretty great combo to my ears...

The 4 stroke sounds great once the EQ gets dialed in.
I wish I had a picture from the show I played with my Ric 2030GF (Glenn Frey edition) through a vintage Orange OR120 back in the early 2000's. I still have the 2030GF, but I sold the amp to a good friend. The other band that played had a Ric 4003 Blue Boy.

Yeah, the Orange amp and the 2x12 is quite a serviceable rig on its own. That’s how it will be used most of the time. It gets a bit punchier with the 2x10 singing along but it’s a lot to bring for small bar gigs and wut not.
I can't be a member of the club, but as soon as I saw the title, I remembered seeing Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats a few years ago; their bassist was rocking a Rick through an Orange stack, and I described the sound at the time as "teeth-rattlingly glorious".
UGH...Was this REALLY necessary to post this thread? Cause now I want both and they aren't even on the top of my list for most wanted items for the amp or the instrument (but thanks for the pictures to those who posted since looking and admiring is free)...

How were they live as a band???...Have listened to a few of their albums and like them overall but guessing they would probably be pretty amazing live...
They were really good. I'm trying to think of a good way to describe them, because they were not what you would call "showy"; mostly they just stood there and played their instruments. I'm not sure there was any stage patter at all. But that makes it sound almost dull, and it wasn't dull, it was really intense. And I think that intensity came from shutting up and steamrolling the audience with the focus on the music.
