It’s essentially the opposite of the original. It’s bright and clear and full and not distorted. The DCR doesn’t remotely tell the whole story.

It was a Gibson TB+. But it sounded super crappy, so I swapped it out for a Novak BS-DS. Much better. The Novak has some aggression to it, while the Sentell is just smooth and detailed.

There are millions of different Ps, so the answer must be both “yes” and “no”.

But both of these pickups have quite healthy output!

Its an Epi EB-0 body with a homemade neck. I built the neck at 32” scale, as that’s my preference over 30”.

Just ordered a used one off of the verb to try in the neck of my Lakland hollowbody. Has anyone used one in a starfire type bass?
