The ultimate violin bass?

A really nice solid body violin bass is about the only thing left that would tickle my GAS fancy. I have everything else. I tried to buy ibbc 's but he came to his senses at the last moment. &$!!%!!!! .

Well by one I mean one in the middle not neck or bridge.

Also a pickup that is deactivated still exhibits magnetic pull and effects how a string vibrates.

I doubt one can hear the difference in a live setting, or on a record. In your bedroom with headphones... maybe.

People are STILL arguing about which bass McCartney played on a plethora of Beatles recordings. And I am referring to the ones that are Hofner vs. Ric vs. J-bass.

I, myself, have far more weighty concerns when I am playing.
