The (un) Official 18"+ club

Since I see our "little" 15" buddies have a club, I thought it only fitting for there to be a club dedicated to the master of fat round bottom, the 18". Oh, and since they are few and far between, all of those over 18" are welcome too. I'd personally like to see someone boomin' the Fostex 31.5"!

Only rules are:
1. At least one 18"+ driver in your rig, doesn't matter if you are also using a 8x10" tweeter array or what! ;)

2. Post or link pictures for a number.

Here's my SVT18, 18" of thump to boogie yer' rump!

Because I'm new here, I'd relinquish my founding member status to someone that's been here longer if needed.

you are here long enough to retain your founding status.

I don't want a number as I do not use an 18" in my current rig... but I like the idea since 2 of my previous rigs sported at least one 18" driver.

Here is my most recent previous rig
(sold the head, still own the cabs but don't use them any more)

(2x18" and 4x10")

I matched a Yamaha 1x 18" PA sub to a 4x12" cab for a while in the 80s too.

I see in FuzzBoxVoodoo's sig the Big Cabs Club, does that earlier club make the 18"+ Club too redundant? I don't know how I missed the Big Cabs Club when I searched earlier.

LowerBeef,
Yeah, the Big Cabs Club is for anyone with Big Cabs. This obviously includes 18" and larger, but also covers those big monster cabs like 8x10, 6x10, 4x15, etc. Some pretty interesting cabs in that club, for sure...

Although you'd have some overlap with the BCC, your idea is more specific. Don't forget to ask for those pics! :D

I no longer use those monsters, but I have had 2 previous rigs with the 210/18 combination. A Fender in the 80's, and an Ampeg in the early 00's. Loved 'em both, but it's either 212 or 215 these days.I think you'll have a pretty exclusive club here.
