The Unknown bass

So this is my first post.

A friend over the weekend let me borrow her bass. She doesnt know how to play bass and wanted me to maintenence it for her. It's a Gibson for sure But i havent been able to find any other gibsons like it. It looks like a VICTORY but, it has an intersting head stock. Sorry for being ignorant but I just wanted to look into this.

but finally the serial number is 80687537

Don't know but I played an Epi P-bass at GC the other day and it had the exact same headstock. Almost bought it too but it needed work and I don't have time for a project bass. The neck was a nice looking piece of maple though.

I wish id get to keep it. This girl knows nothing about bass. All she wanted was it tuned. Its got tremendous tone though, I like it alot. When she told me it was a Gibson my eyes lit up because I dont own an expensive bass of any kind (yamaha rbx375 ). Ah my day will come eventually.
