Just wanted to say howdy, and let anyone interested know that "Geddy Vee#18" was living with me now.
The audere three band that was in there was replaced with an audere 2 band...

18 will be staying with me for the forseeable future, I like it a lot:

Congrats Chef. Can you tell if the Audere is pictured above? I ask because I would like to add an Audere, but would also like to keep the vintage knobs...

I believe it is; but, that's the 3 band iteration, with mid/bass on the leftmost one.
As I have it with the 2 band, the only diff is that the left most knob is bass only.
Still all vintage knobs.

The Warmoth necks are asymmetrical (Slightly chunkier on the bass side and thins out on the treble side).

The USACG necks have a C shape and I get them with a .800" thickness at the 1st fret.

IME, the USACG necks feel thinner front to back because they are not asymmetrical.

Also, Warmoth had Steel Bars which are heavier than the Graphite in the USACG necks and the Warmoth necks are only available with a 10" radius.

Chef, I have lusted after that bass many a time. I missed buying it by a day once when it was on the block. It reminds me of all the reasons I like DJ5s, but I bet the elex sound better in that one.

You know, I was on Staten Island once back in 1991 when I took a wrong turn over the Gothels bridge from Linden, NJ...(that wrong turn cost me $4...)

Back then Nino wasn't building basses, so I had no reason to stay, I turned around and went home :D

Today...I'd be BASS HUNTING! :bassist:

Nino, that's some awesome work, mate...keep it up!
