The current keeper of the Fender Rumble club, Linin asked about how to use the Zoom B3 tuner function. He appeared unaware that it could be used in bypass mode. I figured I would knock out a quick and dirty video of how to do it, and the inspiration for this thread was born.
If you have any particular insight on the special incantations it takes to get the best out of the Zoom B3, shoot a quick video of it and post it up here with a description of what it is, and how you got it...
So for those wanting to use the tuner. With all effects off, and the B3 powered on, push and hold the (2) button for 1-2 seconds. This will turn the tuner on, but not yet engage the full bypass function.
If you want to use the tuner in full bypass mode, hold the (2) button longer. I typically go between 7 and 10 seconds for good measure...
So who's next? What special recipes have you mixed up for this great effects box?
