There is this bass that interested me at my school

I found this bass at my school that interested, the backstory is that someone donated it to my school's band program(with little info about it) and the band director hasn't gotten it fixed. I've been trying to find a models like it and asking people to see if they know but haven't gotten any results. The only info I really have is 'JAPAN' on the back of the body.

To narrow the candidates, you probably are going to have to do a Google images search focusing on those pointy cutaway horns, the pickup, the bridge and truss rod covers, and the string hold-down. Maybe the tuning machines as well. The neck is far too generic to be much help.

I did mention the tuners, but I omitted the strap buttons.
