Does it fall apart upon opening it? That'd be a pretty sweet touch.

Yes. Can't remember a damn thing about it or any of the other 7 books I read in 10th grade.

Yes, I read it. I was the only one in my class to my memory who liked it.

I just finished it and I thought it was better than Scarlet Letter

Actually read it in my history discussion group about two years ago. Well, I take that back. The class read it, I didn't know we had to read it, and I BS'd my way through a paper that I had to write on it. I got a B, IIRC.

I had to read things fall apart and scarlet letter for my AP literature class, and write 3 analyses for each.

Achebe wrote some great critical essays too. Strong writer. Id also recommend Arrow of God.

I think it's incredible, but the fact I have to write about it and take notes on the novel diminishes the incredibleness of it.

Im currently having TFA and Romeo & Juliet for my literature. Was hard to read TFA the first time due to the names.. they all sound same haha but it was a great read.

It was one of the first things I had to read for school that I actually enjoyed. Achebe is a master.
