I experienced it while seeing "Earthquake" and "Midway" in movie theaters. It's still one of the best and most realistic effects I've ever experienced.
It's different than a typical subwoofer. It felt like the ground was actually shaking, earthquake-style.

I had the 1969 510 wagon. Bought it in 1979 as an almost non-runner with mucho rust and made it my fun project.
Was supposed to be my winter beater but I wound up tearing the engine down to the last nut and bolt and breather new life into it. Fixed the body well enough to get me around. It was a fun torquey little ride.
Same went for a number of cars of that sort.

Got this game for my 9th or tenth birthday (circa 1970). Used a ping-pong ball and spring-loaded flippers to shoot the ball through the hoop. Actually was a lot of fun.
TV ads for new albums, especially ones this far out!
I never saw the ad for "Gloryhallastoopid," but I vividly remember the ad for "Funkentelechy"!!!
Funny thing, though...as the years went by, I started to wonder if my teenage mind dreamed up that crazy ad. It started to seem more surreal than real. Thank God for YouTube, and thank you for posting it, @The Owl!!!
