Gosh, that brings back memories. Late 60s, there was a small convenience market where I grew up (SW Pennsylvania) that sold Mickey's cakes. Had the Banana Flip and Devil Delite but my favorite was the Jim Jam. Pictured at the bottom of the image, it was like the predecessor of today's Raspberry Zingers. Awesome goodness with absolutely no nutritional value whatsoever. Which is what made them taste so good!
Seems like people from generation to generation just can't stop making stuff up. Remember pyramid power? Crystal energy (hint from someone who's actually studied materials science, for any material that forms crystals, the crystalline form is the LOWEST energy configuration)? The luminiferous aethyr?

My first car was a '73 AMC Hornet. Was previously a company car for Bell Telephone, white car with the blue and yellow stripe down the center of the car. I painted both of the stripes black. Inline six ran ok, but that was the hardest-riding vehicle I've ever owned. Almost as if it came with no suspension system. And on Pennsylvania's infamous pot-holed roads, that was not a lot of fun.
