I recently bought a Wendler Electroacoustic bass (fretless) which includes both a magnetic pick up and a piezo. It's a great bass, sounds great and is fun to play but I think I want to add a preamp pedal to enhance the piezo side of the equation. I like what I have read about the Tone Hammer and think that I might go in that direction-my other bass is a American Pro P bass and I think the Tone Hammer would enhance that as well.
