this deal worth it for me?

hey everyone, i know a guy who is selling a hartke HA4000 head for 250 its used but i was wondering if it would be a worthy purchase. i have never played a hartke but have heard good things. right now i have a behringer ultrabass 4500 is the harke worth more and around the same smount of power? thanks in advance.

Any way you can go and check it (see how it sounds compared to your current amp) first? That would be your best bet to make a good decision. Do you have any complaints with the behringer's tone, or just asking if this hartke head's a good deal?
