Thing is though, it's a prize in a contest. it's not like they sold it to somebody as a complete pristine bass, THEN beat it up, then sent it out. Everyone seems pretty clear on the arrangement. And let's just say I was a fan of this band for some reason. There's a fair chance I don't even play, and even if I did, I might be more interested in this as a collectible piece. Given that, I think the fact that there's a video explaining it's condition would add to the novelty of it.

Yeah there is nothing wrong with it other than being random, but we are slightly biased obviously . I would be interested to see the after shots to see how his relicing technique worked out.
