Thread dates and last message dates not matching up?

Hello, haven't been on TB in quite a while so I'm not sure if this is just something I don't understand about the new layout or some other confusion. So I thought I'd ask:

I'm looking at the Classifieds section and in the "Last Message" column, it states posts from 10 minutes ago, 20 minutes ago, Today at 1:56pm, etc. However, when clicking on those threads, the post that the "Last Message" column is referencing is from days or months ago.

Am I not understanding something? Or is there some db sync not happening?

Classified ads now use a "bump" button instead of posting messages to bump ads. What you are seeing is the last message of the thread being time stamped with the seller's bump.

I also see your are running a "WTB" in your signature. You can actually post a wanted ad now without being a supporting member. You cannot view others wanted ads without membership but you are now allowed to post.

Thanks DIM! That makes sense and I figured it was something like that.

And lol, about the signature, VERY outdated. Like, years old. I'll make sure to update it. Thanks for the reminder and the info!
