not really.............slightly better thump and low end but not enough to be worth modding the original................a pedal...eq or different amp would have been a better solution i think.............i still love the aria neck better than any other bass..........and they are built like a brick............just doesn't have the personality ballsiness and cut through growl i'd like............a hofner has a better thump..........an ebo more bass...............a rick more presence.....i am hopeing the gretsch i am gonna get is gonna be what i was looking for.....i like a thin neck with no flange............medium or short scale........so far the aria's have been my chosen axe............may be again who knows..............might dark star it next time...........might not....

said eff it, got stoned to **** one night and did everything by hand lol. no spray cans were used in this incident.

so anyone who's said "man writing japanese is hard!" go eff yourself. try making stencils of that ****!

(i figured since its a japanese bass, japanese would be suitable)

thing plays AWESOME! every bass i get henceforth just might be 32 inch scale...

just gotta get some black numberless speed knobs and i'll be set.


and yes i know i miffed up the pickup routing... but its only the second route i've ever done and i couldnt afford a real template and didnt have a bearing bit... lol, was all cardboard and praying

Yup, Guild, got 'em in my SG. If I like the Bisonics I ordered might be a few hundred richer. Truth is though, even though they don't have much high end, they aren't bad and beat the pants off a Gibson mudbucker of that era.
