It sounds good - it gives a different sort of overdrive/distortion than either my pf350 (the only amp I've used it with so far) does by itself or with the Ashdown.
It's the newest design, with the boost switch, which does what it says; that lets me set the volume such that engaging the Edison keeps overall volume the same, only changes the tone; flipping the boost switch (clearly not something meant to be done on-the-fly) adds a bit more volume & distortion.
I've got it in the effects loop currently (haven't tried it yet in front of the amp input), in front of the Triple Shot.
Using it and the Ashdown at the same time (at current settings, at least) gives a level of distortion that reminds me a bit of what Chris Wolstenholme uses for Hysteria. Which is fun
I've so far only tried it with my black sr885le (the one with the EMGs) and my Vintage Pro. It makes the VP sound really good
Overall, I'm liking it really well so far, looking forward to experimenting with it on my other basses & amps

Did you move the jack when you refinished the Dano? The 90s reissue has it on the side. Going to need help on understanding a rosewood saddle if intonation is out. Thanks in advance.

My '68 Coral Deluxe Bass (left) is Dano made, but it's unlike the more common Dano designs. It was basically a RI of the early '60s Dano Dane with a different hs construction. (Dane had straight Fender-style hs w/string tree, CDB has a grafted piece of solid rosewood in a Gibson set-back style) Otherwise the same bass. I have the blocky 2-screw bridge cover, second finger-rest, and same OHSC.
Bridges like that are "close enough for Jazz' intonation-wise... but you can get it pretty close. I improved the basic concept by imbedding brass (Hipshot KA) inserts in a clone of the original rosewood saddle. (can't recall what type of wood it is)
