Thunderbird Club

Ahhhhhh, the Herd of Independent Minds, contentedly chewing on their cud.

...also, since when does neither having nor wanting something equate to hating that thing?
Been that way at least a decade. If you don't go along with it, you hate it. F'rinstance, if you disagree with a lifestyle, you must hate the one who lives it...rather than disagreeing with it and still loving the person themselves. I hate that we've gone there as a society.

Yes, that was in purpose.

Thanks man!:D
Yeah... I don't know how I did that either! I'm guessing it might have something to do with the fact that I was working with a different guy than I usually do when I go there. While he was clicketty-clackin' away on his computer... I seized the opportunity to politely (and non-accusationally) fill his ears with my frustrations with their crappy photography and complete lack of descriptions of their used merch on their website, as well as a play-by-play of the 5 basses I've been through, the money I "wasted" on shipping, and the $50 dollars I spent on strings that now hang on their walls instead of mine. I also stepped aside to let a family "play through", who were buying a guitar for their son. I didn't even ask for the strings! After we concluded the transaction... I happily grabbed my new fiddle & headed for the door. The guy said, "Hey... follow me". At which point we walked over to the strings, where he let me pick out the ones I wanted, & sent me on my way! I'll choose to quote Warren Haynes... "Slow happy boys deal with their frustrations different than everybody else"... and mix that with a favorite of my mother's. "Tact, is the art of telling someone to go to hell in such a way that they anticipate the trip". I guess that, just the right blend of those two things, is capable of making a retail store actually pay me to buy a bass from them!

Hope you got that dudes name. Because he is now your GC dude. A GC guy that gives a shite about his customers is worth his weight in Cobalts.

How I spent the morning...............Love shooting outside.

Now I have to go get cleaned up and all girly for the afternoon, the band is coming over for rehearsal

I might have asked you this once before, what camera do you use?

iPhone, not even close to being the current model one either. It's better than my digital for this kind of stuff, I took the shots, uploaded to Imgur right there - amazing really. I find I enjoy the picture taking out in the sun quite a lot, sunlight on models + photography is a great way to critique one's work.

What kinda power tubes in your amp?
Are they collectible, sought after, rare, and expensive like most tube amps that are out of production?
had a service and report done when I got it, as I was a bit reticent of using it until I was sure of the condition. An excerpt.

Eminar 100 watt bass amp.

All tube circuitry.
Solid state rectifier.
3 x 12AX7 dual triodes.
4 x 6L6 output tubes.

The amp is in good condition and suitable to be taken out for gigs.

Front panel.

The amp has two channels with shared tone controls. The first channel is voiced for bass and the second for guitar. The two inputs for each channel are either high or low sensitivity.Meaning one input will be louder than the other.

Edit: no idea on value really, I think I've seen others at around $600. By the way I think it is a 1968 year build. I guess the solid state would be 70s-80s.
Mark Evans used a 300w version in AC/DC.
They were pretty well know from what I hear, they did a lot of PA stuff.
The guy that serviced it, loved it for his guitar.

You can plug into the high sensitivity bass input, then use a patch lead to connect the low sensitivity bass input to the high sensitivity guitar input. Blend to taste.
