Dunno about the 4 strings again, but being that it doesn't have tapered wings, I can't see it being very light either. My Studio V is at least 10 lbs

For what it's worth, the NRs don't have tapered wings and they're light.

I think Larry can confirm or deny this, but from short experience with a couple NR's, they didn't feel as thick as my Studio V. And I can only speak for the Studio V, I've never held a Studio IV

Agreed but I'll take a measurement for thickness if I remember when I get home. I would think that the body outline is the same with the necks being the only difference between the IV and V, so the bodies should weigh about the same.

In case you were wondering, the Studios are heavy... get a wide strap heavy.
