Justin, can you recommend some recordings where you used your Thunderbird. I am very curious about the basses recorded sound and I heard that you sometimes use a T-Bird to record. Thanks

Sounds like it's a step lower in the video than the studio version. I guess for ease of Trent's voice? U2 does that often - depending on how hard Bono has been pushing on the tour, they will often tune down half or a whole step for some shows (must be a nightmare for Edge's guitar tech!)

But yes, that is a ripper Thunderbird tone. Fred Sablan from Marilyn Manson has been getting some great tones from Twiggy's Thunderbirds and his new Ashdown ABM rig too.

What kind of distortion do you use with your thunderbird on this "Nine Inch Nails - Non Entity" Soundcheck version ?
The Tech 21 PSA 1 ? or a little pedal ?
