I have a Willcox Lightwave Saber VL5 that I have never been happy with the strings. I have tried three or four different sets. I currently have D'Addario Black tapes on it. Someone recomended TI Acousticore Bronze strings. I looked them up and like most stuff from Thomastik Infield they are pricy. I am concerned about the size of the B string. Being only 118, that seems too small for a B string.
Anybody have personal experience with these?

I used them with the Rick Turner RB5-FL (and the RB4-FL) I used to own. Amazing feeling and sounding strings (on the Ren basses); no idea what they would be like on the Lightwave system.
