TI Jazz Flats for a J bass?

does anyone know if TI Jazz flats would be good sounding on a MIM Fender Jazz bass? I have D'addario roundwounds on it right now, but wondered if I should try those for a change. I play a little slap but mostly finger.

Hehe, why do you think they call them "jazz flats" and show a picture of a jazz bass on the package? ;) Those strings were designed with a jazz bass in mind. Many people really love them on a P-bass, but I find that combination to be a little too mid-heavy, while the relative scoop of a jazz bass profile brings out the best from these strings.

One more thing: Those strings are VERY low tension, especially for flatwounds, and might not be the best choice if you primarily slap.
